Yes. One Plus license covers 2 devices and one Lifetime license covers 3. If you need more, buy more licenses at the same price each — there is no volume discount or surcharge, so 2 Plus licenses cover 4 devices for $39.6 per year. All devices must belong to the same person and be registered to the same account. You can also deactivate a license on one device and move it to another at any time.
No. This change does not affect licenses you already own, and we will not move you to the new plans automatically. The new plans apply to new purchases. If you would like to move to a new plan, contact us at rcloneview@bdrive.com.
Plus and Lifetime accounts can register up to 16 devices in total. The Free plan has no device limit. All devices must belong to the same person and be registered to the same account (email or social login). Sharing a license with other people is not permitted. Because licenses come in fixed sizes, checkout offers up to 8 Plus licenses (16 devices) or 5 Lifetime licenses (15 devices) — if you need more, contact us at rcloneview@bdrive.com.
No. Installing RcloneView Mobile for Android, iPhone, or iPad does not use up a device slot. The 2 devices on a Plus license and the 3 on a Lifetime license are for your desktop installations. Sign in to the mobile app with the same account and your Plus features, including automatic photo and video backup, are available there as well.
Once you complete the license purchase by clicking the ‘Buy now’ button above, a PLUS license key will be issued and sent to the contact information you provided during purchase (e.g., email). After launching RcloneView, you can enter the license key in the license registration menu, which will stop ads and activate the PLUS features.
RcloneView is strictly a GUI front-end for Rclone, designed to make Rclone more accessible and user-friendly. It communicates with Rclone exclusively using the official Rclone API and does not access remote storage directly. All interactions with remote storage are handled through Rclone itself, ensuring full compatibility and adherence to Rclone’s functionality and security standards.
RcloneView is a GUI-based software developed by Bdrive to enhance the usability of rclone. The license for RcloneView applies exclusively to the RcloneView software itself. In contrast, the open-source MIT license for rclone is defined, managed, and distributed by the rclone project. The scope of the RcloneView license pertains solely to the software developed by Bdrive, whereas the MIT license covers the core functionalities and source code of rclone as maintained by its own community.
To support the continuous development and enhancement of RcloneView, we have determined that a revenue model is essential. However, we offer RcloneView as a free download, enabling users to access and use the core features at no cost.
