Manage OpenDrive Cloud Storage — Sync and Backup Files with RcloneView
Connect OpenDrive to RcloneView for drag-and-drop file management, scheduled backups, and cross-cloud transfers — no command line needed.
OpenDrive is a cloud storage platform offering personal and business plans with a focus on file sharing and collaboration. While its web interface works for casual use, power users who need to move large datasets, automate backups, or sync to other clouds need a more capable tool. RcloneView, powered by rclone's OpenDrive backend, brings a full-featured GUI to your OpenDrive account.

Manage & Sync All Clouds in One Place
RcloneView is a cross-platform GUI for rclone. Compare folders, transfer or sync files, and automate multi-cloud workflows with a clean, visual interface.
- One-click jobs: Copy · Sync · Compare
- Schedulers & history for reliable automation
- Works with Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, S3, WebDAV, SFTP and more
Free core features. Plus automations available.
Connecting OpenDrive to RcloneView
Navigate to Remote tab → New Remote and select OpenDrive from the provider list. You'll need to authenticate via OAuth — RcloneView opens a browser window for you to log in with your OpenDrive credentials and grant access. Once authorized, the remote is saved and available in your explorer panels immediately.
The explorer shows your OpenDrive folders and files with full metadata: name, size, last modified date, and type. The folder tree on the left lets you navigate your entire storage hierarchy, while the file list on the right shows the contents of the selected folder with sortable columns. Thumbnail view is available for image-heavy folders, making it easy to spot what you're looking for in a photo or asset library.
Backing Up OpenDrive Files to External Drives or Other Clouds
For a small design agency that stores client project files on OpenDrive, having a second copy elsewhere is critical. RcloneView makes it easy to set up a backup job from OpenDrive to Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, or even a local external drive. Open the source (OpenDrive) in one panel and the destination in the other, then use the Job Manager to configure a Sync job.
The 4-step job wizard lets you set the source and destination paths, configure transfer concurrency, enable checksum verification, and set file filters (exclude temporary files or limit by age). With a PLUS license, you can schedule the job to run nightly or on any crontab schedule, ensuring your OpenDrive data is always backed up without any manual steps.
Dry Run Before Syncing
Before committing to a large sync operation, use RcloneView's Dry Run mode. This simulates the sync and shows you exactly which files would be copied, updated, or deleted — without making any actual changes. For teams migrating a large OpenDrive library to a new provider, dry run is invaluable for catching unexpected file deletions before they happen.
Dry run output is displayed in the Transferring tab and the Log tab, giving you a complete picture of the planned operation. Once you're satisfied, run the actual sync with a single click.
