Connect your 1Fichier account to RcloneView and manage files, create automated backups, and transfer data to other cloud providers — all without touching the command line.

1Fichier is a French cloud storage and file hosting service popular for its generous storage offerings and file sharing capabilities. While the 1Fichier web interface handles browsing and manual downloads, users who need to move large libraries, create automated backups, or integrate 1Fichier into a multi-cloud workflow need a more capable tool. RcloneView's 1Fichier backend handles all of that through a clean GUI.

Connecting 1Fichier to RcloneView

In RcloneView, open Remote tab → New Remote and select 1Fichier from the provider list. Authentication requires your 1Fichier API key, which you can generate in your 1Fichier account settings under the API section. Paste the API key into RcloneView's configuration dialog and save. The remote is ready immediately.

Your 1Fichier folders and files appear in the explorer panel, browsable by folder tree and sortable file list. The total count and size of any folder is available via right-click → Get Size, which is useful for auditing how much data you have before planning a migration or backup job.

Downloading and Organizing 1Fichier Content

For users who store a large archive of files on 1Fichier and want to move them to a more accessible provider like Google Drive, OneDrive, or a local NAS, RcloneView's cross-cloud Copy job is the right tool. Open 1Fichier in one panel and the destination in the other, then create a Copy job in the Job Manager. Set appropriate transfer concurrency — 1Fichier imposes download rate limits on free accounts, so premium account holders will see faster throughput.

Filter jobs by file type or folder name to migrate content selectively. For example, extract only video files from a mixed-content archive, or copy a specific folder structure while leaving the rest in place.

Backing Up Files to 1Fichier

1Fichier's file hosting features make it a viable secondary backup target, especially for users who want an archived copy in Europe. Create a Sync or Copy job from Google Drive, Dropbox, or a local folder as the source, with your 1Fichier account as the destination. The Job Manager handles transfer retry on failures, which is important given that file hosting services can have variable API response times.

Monitor transfer progress in the Transferring tab and review the Job History for a full audit trail of what was backed up and when.
