Connecting Citrix ShareFile in RcloneView
Open RcloneView and navigate to Remote tab > New Remote. Select Citrix ShareFile from the provider list. You will need your ShareFile subdomain hostname and a Root Folder ID—this is the identifier of the folder within ShareFile that you want to access as the root of your remote. RcloneView steps you through each required field, and once saved, the ShareFile remote appears as a panel in the Explorer where you can browse folders and confirm your data is accessible before starting any transfer.
Because ShareFile uses enterprise-grade authentication, allow a moment for the authorization flow to complete. Once connected, you can navigate your entire ShareFile folder hierarchy, check file sizes, and verify the structure before migration begins.
Configuring Google Drive and Running the Migration
Add Google Drive as a second remote via Remote tab > New Remote. Google Drive uses OAuth browser authentication—RcloneView opens a browser tab, you log in with your Google account, and the connection is established automatically with no API keys to manage manually.
With both remotes ready, go to Home tab > Sync to open the 4-step sync wizard. Set Citrix ShareFile as the source and Google Drive as the destination. Before committing, use the Dry Run option to preview exactly which files will be copied without making any changes—a critical safety check for large enterprise migrations where accidental overwrites could be costly. When satisfied with the preview, run the job and monitor live progress in the Transferring tab at the bottom of the window.
For organizations with files still arriving in ShareFile during the migration window, a PLUS license unlocks scheduled sync so follow-up runs can be automated to catch any newly added content.
Getting Started
- Download RcloneView from rcloneview.com.
- Add Citrix ShareFile as a remote (Remote tab > New Remote), entering your subdomain hostname and Root Folder ID.
- Add Google Drive as a second remote using OAuth browser login.
- Open the Sync wizard, set ShareFile as source and Google Drive as destination, and run a Dry Run first.
- Execute the migration and monitor progress in the Transferring tab.
