Connecting Your FTP Server in RcloneView
Open the Remote tab and click New Remote. From the provider list, choose FTP and enter your server's hostname or IP address, port, username, and password. If your server supports FTPS (FTP over TLS), you can enable it in the advanced options for an encrypted connection.
Once saved, the FTP remote appears in the explorer panel alongside your cloud accounts. You can expand its folder tree, browse sub-directories, and view file names, sizes, and modification timestamps — the same experience you get with Amazon S3 or Dropbox.
Browsing and Transferring FTP Files Visually
RcloneView's multi-pane explorer is where FTP management becomes efficient. Open your FTP remote in one panel and a cloud destination — a Backblaze B2 bucket, a Google Drive folder, or an Amazon S3 prefix — in the other. Drag and drop files between panes to initiate a copy. Getting Started
- Download RcloneView from rcloneview.com.
- Open Remote > New Remote and select FTP from the provider list.
