The Freelancer Cloud Problem
A typical freelancer's cloud landscape looks something like this:
- Client A: Shares project briefs and assets via Google Drive
- Client B: Uses Dropbox for file exchange
- Client C: Works in Microsoft 365 with OneDrive and SharePoint

Unified Multi-Cloud Access
RcloneView's two-pane explorer lets you open any two cloud accounts side by side. Drag client files from Google Drive to your Backblaze B2 backup. Copy deliverables from your local workspace to the client's Dropbox folder. Compare your working copy against the client's latest uploads to check for new assets.
Add each client's cloud as a separate remote in the Remote Manager. Name them descriptively — "Client-A-GoogleDrive", "Client-B-Dropbox" — so you can find them instantly. All remotes are accessible from a single dropdown, eliminating the need to install each provider's desktop client.
Automated Backup of Client Work
Losing client work is a career-ending event for a freelancer. A single accidental deletion or ransomware incident can destroy months of deliverables. RcloneView's scheduler automates backups to protect against this.

Protecting Client Data with Encryption
Client work often includes confidential information — financial data, unreleased products, proprietary content. RcloneView's crypt remote encrypts files before they leave your machine. Even if your backup cloud is compromised, the encrypted files are unreadable without your encryption key.
Set up a crypt remote that wraps your backup destination. Files are encrypted on upload and decrypted transparently on access. The encryption is client-side — no cloud provider ever sees your unencrypted data.
Archiving Completed Projects
When a project ends, you need to archive the files in a way that is cost-effective and retrievable. Transfer the project folder from your active workspace to a cold storage tier — AWS S3 Glacier, Backblaze B2, or Wasabi. Tag the archive with the client name and project date for easy retrieval later.

Managing Multiple Accounts Per Provider
