Manage NetEase Storage — Sync and Backup Files with RcloneView
Connect NetEase's S3-compatible object storage to RcloneView and manage it alongside every other cloud you already use.
Teams operating in the Asia-Pacific region often end up with storage spread across several regional providers, and NetEase's object storage service is a common part of that mix. RcloneView reaches it through rclone's S3-compatible backend, so you get the same drag-and-drop explorer, sync jobs, and folder comparison you'd use with any other remote — no separate app, no switching context. It's one more bucket in a single window that already handles 90+ cloud storage services.

Manage & Sync All Clouds in One Place
RcloneView is a cross-platform GUI for rclone. Compare folders, transfer or sync files, and automate multi-cloud workflows with a clean, visual interface.
- One-click jobs: Copy · Sync · Compare
- Schedulers & history for reliable automation
- Works with Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, S3, WebDAV, SFTP and more
Free core features. Plus automations available.
Connecting NetEase Storage as a Remote
Adding NetEase storage follows RcloneView's standard S3-compatible setup: create a new remote, select the S3 provider type, and enter your Access Key ID, Secret Access Key, and the NetEase endpoint URL. There's no OAuth flow here — credentials come straight from your NetEase account console, the same way you'd configure Wasabi, MinIO, or any other S3-compatible service in RcloneView.
Once saved, the remote appears in the Explorer panel like your other connections. Browse buckets, drill into folders, and switch between NetEase and any other provider using the tab bar — everything stays in one window rather than a separate storage-specific client.
RcloneView mounts AND syncs 90+ providers from one window, on Windows, macOS, and Linux — connecting NetEase doesn't require a different tool for a different provider.
Syncing Between NetEase and Other Clouds
Once the remote is configured, treat NetEase like any other endpoint in a sync job. Set it as the source or destination in RcloneView's 4-step sync wizard, choose one-way sync for a stable backup path, and layer on filters if you only want specific file types or folders included. Advanced Settings lets you tune concurrent and multi-thread transfer counts for large batches.
Run a Dry Run before the first sync — it previews exactly what will be copied or deleted without touching real data, which matters when standing up a new cross-region pipeline. Once you're confident, Job Manager saves the job for repeat runs and tracks every execution in Job History.
Comparing and Backing Up NetEase Buckets
Folder Compare gives you a side-by-side view of a NetEase bucket against a local folder or another cloud remote, flagging files that exist on only one side or differ in size. That's useful for verifying a migration completed cleanly, or spot-checking that a scheduled backup actually caught everything.
For ongoing protection, a 1:N sync job can mirror the same local source to NetEase and a second provider at once — available on the FREE license — so one storage outage doesn't leave you without a copy.
Getting Started
- Download RcloneView from rcloneview.com.
- Add a NetEase remote using your Access Key, Secret Key, and endpoint under the S3-compatible provider type.
- Run a Dry Run sync to confirm your file selection before transferring anything for real.
- Save the job in Job Manager so future syncs and backups are one click away.
With NetEase sitting alongside your other remotes in RcloneView, regional storage stops being a separate workflow and just becomes another destination you manage from the same explorer.
