Manage Uloz.to Storage — Sync and Backup Files with RcloneView

Stop juggling browser uploads to Uloz.to — manage the whole library from a desktop file explorer instead.

Uloz.to is a popular file hosting and storage service, but its web interface wasn't built for bulk backup, scheduled sync, or moving files between accounts and other clouds. RcloneView adds Uloz.to as a remote alongside your other storage, so you can browse it, back it up, and keep it in sync without ever opening a browser tab. RcloneView mounts and syncs 90+ providers from one window, on Windows, macOS, and Linux — Uloz.to is simply one more tab in the same interface.

Add Uloz.to as a Remote

Open the Remote tab and click New Remote, then select Uloz.to from the provider list to configure the connection. Once added, it shows up as a tab in any Explorer panel, right alongside your local disks and other cloud remotes. The Remote Manager (Remote tab > Remote Manager) lists every configured remote in one place, so you can edit or remove the Uloz.to connection later without digging through settings screens.

Inside the Explorer, the breadcrumb path bar's right-click menu includes Copy Full Path (with Remote) — handy for grabbing a uloz:FolderName style path if you also use the built-in Rclone Terminal for one-off commands.

Sync and Back Up Uloz.to Content Automatically

For recurring backups, set up a Sync job through the 4-step wizard: pick Uloz.to as source or destination, choose one-way "modifying destination only" for a safe, stable backup direction, and add filters in Step 3 to skip file types you don't want mirrored (large .iso files, temp folders, and so on). Run a Dry Run first to preview exactly what will copy or delete before anything actually moves.

Once you're confident in the job, PLUS-license users can attach a crontab-style schedule so the Uloz.to backup runs automatically — daily, weekly, or on whatever cadence fits your workflow.

Verify What Changed with Folder Compare

Before trusting a migration or backup, run a Folder Compare between your Uloz.to folder and its counterpart on another remote. The comparison view flags left-only, right-only, and different files side by side, so you can spot missing uploads or stale copies before they become a problem.

Getting Started

  1. Download RcloneView from rcloneview.com.
  2. Add Uloz.to as a new remote via the Remote tab.
  3. Create a Sync job to back it up to another cloud or local drive.
  4. Run a Dry Run, then confirm with Folder Compare after the first transfer.

Bringing Uloz.to into a proper file management workflow means fewer manual uploads and a lot more confidence that your files are actually backed up.
