Migrate pCloud to MEGA — Transfer Files with RcloneView

Move an entire pCloud library into MEGA with a previewed, verifiable cloud-to-cloud job instead of a manual download and re-upload.

Switching from pCloud to MEGA usually means a large archive that nobody wants to pull down to a laptop first. RcloneView connects both services as remotes, so you can copy folder to folder from one window and check the result before you retire the old account.

Connect pCloud and MEGA as Remotes

pCloud uses browser-based OAuth: RcloneView opens a login page, you approve access, and the remote is created without an API key. MEGA uses your email and password. Open Remote > New Remote, pick each provider, and name them clearly, for example pcloud-old and mega-new.

Once both appear in the Remote Manager, open them side by side in two Explorer panels. RcloneView mounts and syncs 90+ providers from one window on Windows, macOS, and Linux, so the same layout works for any future move.

Copy Files Cloud to Cloud

Dragging a folder from one remote to another copies it, since transfers between different remotes are copies rather than moves. For a small folder that is enough. For a full library, create a Copy or Sync job so it can be saved, rerun, and reviewed in Job History.

Keep the source untouched until you have verified the result. A copy job leaves pCloud intact, which makes the migration safe to repeat if something is interrupted.

Preview with Dry Run and Tune Transfers

Run a Dry Run first. It lists the files that would be copied or deleted without changing anything, which catches a wrong destination folder before it costs hours. In the advanced step you can adjust concurrent file transfers and equality checkers. If you see errors, lowering these values is a reasonable first step.

Use the filtering step to skip file types or folders you do not want to carry over, such as old installers or Google Docs exports.

Verify with Folder Compare

After the transfer, open Compare with pCloud on the left and MEGA on the right. Filter to left-only and different files to see anything missing or mismatched, and copy the remainder across directly from the compare view. The Transferring tab and Job History record size and status for each run.

Getting Started

  1. Download RcloneView from rcloneview.com.
  2. Add pCloud (OAuth) and MEGA (email and password) through New Remote.
  3. Create a Copy job from pCloud to MEGA and run a Dry Run.
  4. Run the job, then verify with Folder Compare before closing the old account.

A previewed, verified copy turns a risky account switch into a routine task.
