Connecting iCloud Drive in RcloneView

iCloud Drive support requires rclone v1.69 or later. RcloneView ships with an embedded rclone binary and supports in-app rclone Self Update — you can update to the required version directly within the app via the Help tab.

To connect iCloud Drive, go to Remote tab > New Remote and select iCloud Drive from the provider list. Enter your Apple credentials to complete authentication. Once configured, your iCloud Drive appears as a remote in the explorer, showing all your iCloud folders and files. On macOS, this reveals exactly what's stored in iCloud regardless of whether files have been downloaded locally.

Backing Up iCloud Drive to Another Cloud

The most common use case: creating a cloud-to-cloud backup of iCloud Drive content to Amazon S3, Backblaze B2, or Google Drive for cross-platform access and disaster recovery. Configure a sync job in RcloneView's Job Manager — source is your iCloud Drive remote, destination is your backup cloud remote.

Getting Started

Download RcloneView from rcloneview.com.
Ensure your embedded rclone is updated to v1.69+ via Help > Check for Updates.
Go to Remote tab > New Remote, select iCloud Drive, and enter your Apple credentials.
Configure a sync job in Job Manager to back up your iCloud Drive to a secondary cloud.
